Avaya SENTRY™ powered by 911 Secure is a full-featured 911 management solution built with flexibility in mind for a wide range of customer environments and requirements. In today’s fast-paced world, deploying applications and servers typically leverages virtualization and cloud solutions to implement solutions in many customer environments. The SENTRY™ 911 solution can be deployed in any customer data center whether it be on traditional physical server hardware or virtualized on many of the industry standard hypervisors. Whether this virtualization technology is hosted in customer data centers or in public or private cloud instances, the SENTRY™ 911 solution is fully supported.
Many customers have chosen to implement the SENTRY™ 911 solution within their Azure, GCP, and AWS public clouds. Being based on Microsoft Windows Server enables the SENTRY™ 911 solution to be fully supported on any Microsoft compatible platform.
With the modular nature of our solution, implementations vary from customer to customer. Being Windows-based and leveraging industry standard components such as Microsoft SQL Server, many customers already have the infrastructure and expertise to install and manage the SENTRY™ solution. Whether the solution is implemented on physical servers or virtualized in the cloud, the SENTRY™ solution is perfectly suited for life wherever it makes sense in the customer environment. Integrating into the customer UC and PBX systems does not require any specific physical infrastructure.
As long as the SENTRY™ solution can reach the PBX APIs required over the network, the physical location of the solution is irrelevant. During each implementation, the 911 Secure implementation team works with the customer to adapt the solution to meet customer requirements. Since no customer environments are equal, there is no one size fits all configuration that is required with the SENTRY™ solution.
