ALTURA & AVAYA’S VIDEO SERIES: PART 1
In part 1 of our 8-part video series, we focus on Healthcare’s Unique Challenges. Mr. Peter Johnson, a leading Healthcare executive who previously served as Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Medical Center CIO for 26 years, shares his critical observations on how his partnership with Altura and Avaya benefited his organization:
“Healthcare has unique challenges that everyone needs to be worried about and concerned about. The things the come to mind, I think, as healthcare evolves, and the business partners that we’re going to need are: reliability, redundancy, service, collaboration, and flexibility. All of those are critical elements for us to be successful in the world that is going to come.
I think Avaya and Altura have been able to address our business needs and our clinical needs of patient care through reliability and uptime capabilities that really no other systems have. It has also the redundancy and capabilities of systems that are so critical for healthcare and that are unique to healthcare.
Service is important in every day in about trying to make sure systems work as they are designed to. To the extent that there’s been growth and changes, collaboration with other business partners, other clinical partners that are providing the infrastructure. It’s critically important for both Avaya and Altura. And last, flexibility in helping us meet the challenges of the future is critically important.
We’ve had a long-term relationship with Avaya and Altura. And really, what has gotten us to this point, has been a commitment on their part to meet our needs on a daily basis. They earn that business every time we get together and it’s important for us to move forward because we’ve undergone rapid growth and changes.
We have the need for state of the art equipment and healthcare has unique applications. Avaya and Altura have allowed us to really provide all three of these things as we have grown over the last 25 years.”Next Video
